All-star cheerleading is a competitive sport that combines the tumbling (floor elements) of gymnastics, the hip hop and jazz of dance, the strength and coordination for stunting (lifting of other athletes) of traditional cheerleading, wrapped into an action-packed routine.
Athletes are placed on teams based on their age and skill level. All-star teams compete against teams of the same age/level/division declarations.

After divisions are decided, teams are placed into levels, to compete against other equally skilled athletes based on their tumbling and stunting skills. This gives each team the best chance overall to be both competitive and clean in their routines.
Our Full Season Packet will be available the first week of April – grab it here and be sure to follow us on social and subscribe to our Newsletter to be the first to know about new happenings at Ideal!

These teams require dedication from all participants and have a strict attendance policy. While no experience is necessary, gymnastics, dance, or other competitive sport experience helps these athletes excel through the season! If an athlete is a better fit for our half-year prep program we will discuss that opportunity with you as well. All star cheer is one of the top emerging sports in the world, as it is a blend of four different skillsets put into one action-packed, high energy, endurance routine that is judged strictly on technique, difficulty, and performance of the routine. While Elite teams are built in May/June we may consider allowing athletes to join late based on circumstances. Please keep in mind that our payment structure includes our competition fees and other “overhead” costs beyond monthly tuition, so any late joiner would be responsible for a pro-rated fee to catch up on those costs.
