As a coach I want to push my athletes, along with creating a safe space and an emotional connection. Building trust between coach and athlete is extremely important to me. Creating a space that is surrounded with a positive growth mindset, passion, determination, and drive. I aim to be able to push my athletes to their limits, while still feeling confident in themselves and their skills.

Personally, as a coach and owner I strive to have trust between my athletes and families. I make sure to have comfortability with each individual that comes into Ideal, creating vulnerability and an open, honest space. A positive growth mindset flows through my veins, as I strive to create the same mindset for my athletes and families. My athletes always know it is okay to make mistakes, as long as you take that experience and grow from it. Being able to take criticism and corrections is extremely important for my athletes to be able to grow. I want my athletes and families to know I will be there to help them through hard times, being here to help shape them for their future.

I am a coach that believes that positive and straight forward coaching builds confident and able athletes. I hope to help build self-confident, technique apt, and stable athletes through giving positive yet straight forward and clear critiques to skills from tumbling to stunting. I am motivated by athletes that are willing to put in the effort to work and learn new skills while having fun! My personal approach to team culture as well as gym/ parent culture is enthusiastic and encouraging support to all Ideal athletes as well as gyms we are competing against because whether they are Tiny or Senior age hearing support in the crowd and at the gym feels good and builds self-confidence and athletes that are excited to learn and succeed. I feel rewarded and fulfilled when my athletes leave the mat excited to perform again and continue to show their best skills at every opportunity. I believe a great coach is someone who athletes can turn to and learn for both about cheerleading and life lessons. I hope to teach your children all-star cheerleading and how to be a positive and team-based individual throughout Season 7 at Ideal Cheer Elite and look forward to a season of learning and building.

I want to make sure that they are learning life skills to use as well outside of Ideal. I strive to make sure everyone keeps an open mind set and make sure I’m transparent with athletes and parents. What I look for is athletes is a positive mind set and always be thinking about what they could do to better themselves on and off the mat. Thought my years of being an athlete myself and coaching my philosophy has developed into something I believe in outside of coaching too. Anything is possible if you set your mind to it!

As a coach, I hope to install my love and passion of this sport in the next generation of athletes. I strive to not only make my team a space where athletes can have fun but to push themselves to be the best athlete they can be. Nothing fuels me more than the pride that my athletes feel when they are proud of themselves. Everyone has potential that can be unlocked and I want nothing more that to show my athletes that they too can be great.
